Dr. Regina Corallo, PhD

Dr. Regina Corallo is a seasoned educator and advocate with over 15 years of experience in higher education. Based in Brooklyn, NY, she has taught English Literature and Writing at institutions including Baruch College, Hunter College, and St. John’s University. Her expertise encompasses Gender & Women’s Studies, Literature and Social Justice, and Archival Research. In addition, Dr. Corallo has worked as a copywriter and content creator for organizations such as Philadelphia Contemporary and The Bronx Museum.
Dr. Corallo has a long-standing commitment to supporting Afghan children, having sponsored and mentored children through AFCECO for over a decade. She also contributed to fundraising efforts and editorial work for the organization. Dr. Corallo leverages her extensive academic background and passion for education in her role on Shokofa’s Advisory Board, where she provides insight and guidance on program development and strategic direction to help shape the organization’s mission and impact.
